How can I work one-on-one or in small groups with my students?
In developing your content experiences consider the following questions:
- How can you leverage the 10 design qualities in your self-directed activities to increase engagement?
- How can student goal setting connect to self-directed learning activities in your classroom?
- How can you utilize meaningful brain breaks as part of choice labs?
- What non-digital activities can you use as a self-directed activity?
- Are there certain digital or non-digital games that engage, challenge the student, and meet learning objectives that you can incorporate for self-directed stations?
- How can Genius Hour or Capstone play a role in your enrichment stations? Do enrichment stations only need to be for students that have mastered the material?

As you think about the lesson/unit that you are personalizing:
- create a diagram, map, or outline to detail the self-directed learning activities that your students will participate in to enable one-on-one or small group
- gather resources together
- determine how your students will access the resources: Google Classroom, etc.
- consider compiling engaging extension activities
